Kate MacLeod - Anam Cara.
Publicado el 29 mar. 2013
This song was inspired by John O'Donohue's book, Anam Cara. The video was filmed on March 27, 2013, in the Carnation Tree Barn, in Carnation, WA. Kate has performed with duo partner Kat Eggleston in a concert series held in this barn. This day, Kate was visiting the barn with Jim Hermanson and Lawson Cannon, checking out the acoustics after some renovation on the building, when Lawson coordinated an IPhone taped to a chair to capture a song on video. In this video Kate's playing a borrowed guitar made by Terry Docherty, owned by Wally Bell, who has several of Terry's instruments. The lyrics to this song can be found on her website at www.katemacleod.com. The song is one of a collection of songs based on books, compiled in the recording, "Live at Ken Sanders Rare Books."
